Posted by: Glenn

Apple will be holding a special press event on Tuesday, September 9th. The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco at 10:00 a.m. The invitations for the event simply read "Let's Rock" on an iPod screen.

Make that two of us. But I have a feeling there will be a Mac or two beyond the new iPods.

I would rather the invitation read Let's Mac. I need another iPod like a hole in the head. Smile

I would like to see iTunes 8 with some sort of all-you-can-eat plan. One that goes for the Apple TV as well. Now that would truly rock!

Oh, is it Christmas? Santa Steve? I want PSP compatibility on the touch/iPhone, The Beatles, Loco Roco, and a bike!

They would update the MacBook and MacBook Pro most likely since the educational free iPod offer is right before a Mac update.

That promotion ends on the 15th. Why would they release new MacBooks a week before it ends? It seems like that could piss some people off. Then again, they are coming out with new iPods to give away. I guess that I'm surprised this event isn't after the 15th.

This could also lead to a flood of returns. Even more than after your average update.

iPhones, iPhones, iPods, iPhones, iPods...

I have a radical new idea: what about a new Mac mini, Apple? Shocked

I'm not sure how one for video (movies and TV) would work, but that would be great. That being said, I'm mostly interested in a cheap music plan like Rhapsody.
