Hi
Atm I am using an ipod touch to connect wirelessly to my mac mini and works just great with the macs built in wifi card. The mac is then connected to my netgear router via a set of homeplugs (mac in one room, internet with wired netgear dg834 in other). However I am concerned that its not protected. How do I go about making it secure but still enable it so that my touch and other items (such as my parents laptop)can get on the internet wirelessly?

Internet Sharing is not secured by default. You need to go back into Internet Sharing and select AirPort Options. Then turn on WEP and assign the network a password.
