Is the imac with the bowl shape bottom a G3, G4 or both? I seen one at a local computer shop for sale and they wanted around $450 for it.
What would it be worth? Probably no software included. Not sure if OS included.

They're all G4s, but come with different sized screens. Go to this page, and scroll down to the list of G4 iMacs. Wegener Media can give you an idea of the current asking prices here. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

No problem, GD. I like the G4 iMacs because they're a good half-way point between low price (not as expensive as a G5 iMac) and nice screen (not gonna burn holes in your eyes like a G3 iMac).
Are you thinking about increasing the number of Macs in your house? _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

Yes I am, but main objective is getting an intel mini. I really would like to get an iBook or Macbook, but maybe one of those G4 iMac's would be nice to have since the wifey has taken over my main Linux box.

Ghostdawg, as JohnnyBoy said, they are all G4s, they started at about 700mhz and came with either a Combo or a SuperDrive. There was a 17" and a 20". It would be a nice addition to any MacFamily. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

You're right again, I forgot to include the 15". Set up many of them. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

| Ah, yes, the best looking iMac model ever made. I still wish I had one of those, just for the fun of collecting. Good buy. |
