I have none (bar the default). I don't use Dashboard. I tried it but I always have Safari open, so I can find anything I want just by using the Google search. Dashboard may be a tad faster in use, but also those widgets eat RAM. So I don't have any running.
I'll get round to trying that debug trick to use a select few on the desktop sometime. |

I don't use them either, in fact I use a program called "Disable Tiger Features" that allows you to shut the feature off alltogeather for memory conservation then turn them back on with just a click. It's great, out of 512 meg memory with Dashboard shut off and mail running, I have like 250 meg ram available right now. Dashboard is a great app, but uses to much memory for my liking.

i'm the same too, don't use them. They seem to take ages to appear too, possibly cos I'm running 256 ram not a 1Gb yet _________________ 1.42Ghz 1Gb upgrade Mini - loving it!1

When I first saw the ram in use from widgets I turned them all off but saw no real improvment in speed or function. So now I have my whole screen filled with all my favorite widgets, about 15 on screen no noticable difference.

I hate all of you who have Tiger. I didn't get it with my Mini, I missed the up-to-date thing by 3 days, and I don't have $60 for software as I'm still working on hardware. Maybe that money will magically appear when the bugs and Dashboard issues in 10.4 disappear (iow the 10.4.2 update is released).

screen capture widget, weather, calculator, notepad, apple logo, send sms widget, moon phase, and the stock widget. My favorite would be the text message widgets. I love widgets and they dont slow down my comp just use the essential ones. Your missing out if you dont use the dashboard.

I have weather, SMS, Google maps, dictionary, iTunes lyrics, package tracker, and word of the day. I rarely use the Dashboard.
On a related note, would anyone be interested in a widget front-end to Facebook where you could change your image easily or use smart albums in iPhoto to rotate through a group of pictures every day or something like that? I'm thinking of doing that for me, but it'd be nice to see if other people would be interested. _________________ Computer Engineer

2, the stock ticker and weather. I'm working on an etrade widget that will show my portfolio at one click, but that is going to be way down the road. Too many other things to do now and not enough time.
