| I switch back and forth between an Intel Mac mini and PS3. Lately, I've been using the PS3 a little more. |

I'm surprised that most people use their Mac Mini Actually I shouldn't be because the Mini is more practical than the Apple TV.
But I do love streaming HD videos on Apple TV _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!

I was using my iMac until I just got an Apple TV. With ATV Flash installed and a 750GB USB HD attached, I have to say the ATV is by far the best out there. (especially if your concerned about the wife factor!)
It is soo easy to use, the whole family can now watch movies on any of our machines (streaming) or choose from the internal HD or external HD of our ATV.
I will say this:
You have to be pretty computer savvy to set up the ATV in a way that makes it easy for everyone to use.
I've spent several hours (still have several more) setting up folders, etc. to make it easy to use. _________________ Automotive Digital Marketing

I'm using an Apple TV. It's connected to a 42" Panny plasma and 1000W Panny home theater system. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

| I use a Sony Playstation 3 for "HTPC", but I just bought an AirPort Express for AirTunes. I'm going to use it along with my Mac mini for music. It will be controlled with the Remote app from my iPhone. If that goes well, I'm going to buy another AirPort Express for my workshop. I have a nice little Kenwood setup out there. |

Why does the PC always come in last place? |

I don't know why it always does either. Everytime people have problems with Windows, they blame the PC...I just throw linux on my PC and don't have any more problems. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

| I like Apple TV. If a new Mini comes out, I might replace it with it (please Apple, don't make me think about getting a Dell Studio Hybrid); if not I might just end up upgrading the hard drive on it. |

| I use my PS3. My mini feeds it video via Medialink. It works quite well for me. There are a few file formats that the PS3 doesn't play. I would love to have VLC on my PS3, but so far I've only seen difficult looking processes of getting VLC onto the PS3. |
