I want to put a bigger HD in my ATV but, a 250 WD HD just ain't gonna cut it. I could put a 500GB SATA 2.5" drive if someone knows where I can get an adapter. I'm also gonna get ATV Flash and enable the USB for external storage, I have a 750GB drive ready to go. 1.25TB should hold me over for a while. . .
So, does anyone know where I can get a 2.5" IDE to SATA adapter? Does anyone even make em'?

I've had a good scout round but can't seem to find one. I guess the demand just isn't there.

Thanks! It looks like people are working on it, just no solid solution yet. I'll keep searching! |
Well they do have a solid solution, but it doesn't keep everything inside the box. I really have been thinking of putting a ssd in mine, cut the heat and power-usage down. Though I am going to wait a little longer for the prices to come down  |
