I just bought one on Ebay. I will let you how it is as soon as it arrives. $34 including shipping to Canada.

I have nothing good to say about this webcam - I regret buying one. The color balance is awful with a distinct blueish cast, light-sensitivity is poor unless ya got big bright windows nearby 24 hours a day. The microphone has a very sharp, harsh edge to it's sound. Even eCamm's iGlasses web cam control software could barely 'fix' the cam's poor color balance.
Watch some of my demo vids of the IceCam2 at YouTube before you shell out your bucks: http://www.youtube.com/docmacps
It is just plug and play on OS X 10.4/10.5, compatible with all apps. It's strictly USB 2.0 ONLY, (as many UVC webcam are) so it can't throttle down for older Macs with USB 1.1 ports. But the bottom line here is it's just a disappointing, cheap, 2nd-rate $8 import cam MacAlly is selling for $30. |

That's why I said, check out the aforementioned Hercules, which had rather good responses and is around the same price. Only thing is, it's color is not matching aluminium/white, but if you have a black beseled flatscreen, it might do just the trick. _________________ ___________________Jim©
