What if I could lay my hands on a 3G iPhone that had not been activated on the AT&T system, could I then:
1) Remove the SIM from my current AT&T phone and use it to make phone calls.
2) I understand I wouldn't be able to use their data network, and that might not be a bad thing as long as I could use the WiFi radio.

I dunno, they are being pretty hardcore about it i think. They actually need to be 'activated' with your account. Simply popping the SIM card in there isn't enough i don't think. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work. _________________ Core 2 duo 2.0 Mini on a 26" Sharp LC-26GD4U GO CANES!!!! |
