Please be aware that MobileMe isn't supposed to launch until tomorrow according to Apple. Everything should work fine in about 24 hours, I suppose. _________________ Mac mini 2010 (Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz/8 GiB)

Is that the official tag line now?
Actually, it seems to be up again. Grab it while it's hot. It will probably be down in another ten minutes again. |

It's early, but I had feeling this might happen at launch. _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

From what I've been able to see of MobileMe so far, it looks really nice. Hopefully, things will become more stable going into the weekend. _________________ ~ Pop Bottle |

The .mac web site is down with the current page being displayed.
Mobile me is in the process of transition this process took longer then expected however idisk iweb and .mac mail are all still online and can be accessed via the respected software applications. |

Software Update on my PowerBook (running Tiger) doesn't even show it as available, and I have .Mac. How am I supposed to get it?
Meanwhile, running .Mac sync shows it as running, but it does nothing. _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

It looks like Apple finally made the software available (yet again) as MobileMe version 1.1 at about 2:15PM EDT 7/12/2008. If you go into System Preferences and click on the .Mac icon you will get prompted to install the update. _________________ Mac Pro Quad 2.66GHz, PowerMac G5 2.3 GHz, iMac Core Duo 17", MacBook Pro 2GHz, MacBook Pro 2.2GHz, Mac mini Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz. Thanks! I have been waiting and waiting. I would just add that you need 10.5.4. _________________ ~ Pop Bottle |

I just meant for it to show up under Leopard. It wasn't showing up on a Mac that I have running 10.5.2.
The MobileMe service works with Tiger. Well, with exception of Back to My Mac. You just need to be running 10.4.11.
More from the horse's mouth:
| Quote: | I have Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, can I still use MobileMe?
Most MobileMe features work with Tiger, but you must be running the latest version (currently version 10.4.11) and MobileMe features will still appear as .Mac. Some features, such as Back to My Mac, do require Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. For details about using Mail with MobileMe in Mac OS X 10.4.11, read this article.

That didn't seem to work for me. Then I tried right clicking it, and bingo...
Thanks for the tip bsnoel! I had no idea. |

So it is finally up, I have installed the updates on all macs and sync'd all was well until I looked a bit closer, all my calendars out our by 7hrs. ie an appointment at 6am shows at 1pm?
This would be killing El Jobsie and his perfectionist nature, I dont really mind, ical never worked at all with .Mac this is at least an improvement and I know they will get it right eventually.
here's looking at MobileMe 1.2 in a couple of days huh! _________________ Intel 2.4Ghz/4G Ram/1TB HDD/Server MacMini

Man, I'm having problems syncing with Tiger (works great on Leopard though). Also it takes about 1-2hours for me to receive mail, but I have no problem sending it. _________________ Mac Mini 1.83 GHz C2D
