When I ordered my mini, I got it with bluetooth only. I did this because I have my mini next to my router and figured that's where it would always be.

Well, over the weekend, I bought a 50" HDTV. The TV has a VGA and PC audio in port on the back. What I want to do is hook my mini up to this. Then I can sit on my recliner with my wireless keyboard and mouse and surf the net on a 50" screen. Smile Of course, my TV is not near my router.

I see there are upgrade kits to add both BT and AP. Is there anything out there that is just the AP card and antenna? Since I already have the mezzanine board it plugs into.

You can buy the antenna here or from Apple. You can get the AE card anywhere.

Well, the antenna costs $32 and I'm finding the AE card for about $100. It seems to me that just going to the Apple store and having them do it would be cheaper. Even though I don't even need the bluetooth parts.

It really doesn't make seens to do it yourself. The Apple Store will do it for $99 bucks plus tax in about 30 minutes.
