|
|
Hi! I'm thinking about buying a Mac mini with 2GHz 2GB RAM, but would like to know first if Enemy Territory will run smoothly on it? I love that game…
I currently have a 1Ghz PowerPC G4 with 2GB DDR SDRAM, and the game runs fine on it, but I need a new computer which can run the new OS and newer programs until we order new machines next fall.
Any help is greatly appreciated! |

| The Intel 950 is not very good at 3D graphics. So, my guess is that it would not play very well if you could get it to run. Just my guess. |

| With the eye candy turned way down, maybe it could. I tried WoW at the 768 WS res on my LCD TV, with the default settings, and it played well. Mind you, it's not the most demanding game, and not the highest resolution... |

Is that with GMA 950 graphics processor and 32MB of DDR2 SDRAM?
And can you run it on high-res?
Thx |

No my gma is the 950 running 64 megs of video ram and i have had no issues.
The only thing you really have to do is configure the game for your machine just because you can run it on a higher setting doesn't mean you should.
Just like american mcgee's alice i have seen users hacking the config files to increase resolution and causing the game to do some weird stuff. |

So am i There are several sites the will send you a free copy if you get 3 freinds to sign up for there services.
But i would recommend buying it or trying out downloadable demo
TRY www.gamershell.com they have some mac demos and might have a demo for quake wars. |
