I was a strong advocate of FireFox back in my Winders-using days. It is an excellent web browser. But I really like Safari, and use that almost exclusively now.
I do keep FireFox, Internet Exploder and Opera in my applications folder so that I can test the cross browser performance of my websites. _________________ http://skeptichosting.com/

I've found that Firefox is the fastest. The new Safari (post patch that came out last week,) is just about as fast but I don't like that Safari doesn't put my bookmarks in alpha order. I've used Firefox just about since the beginning so it's what I'm comfortable with. _________________ Todd Walker

I spend a lot of time on OS X, various version of Windows, and Red Hat, so I stick with FireFox as it's pretty much the same on all platforms.
Just need to find a tool to sync my bookmarks centrally and I'll be a happy camper. |

| I used firefox on my pc. I've had my mini for about a month now, and started using Safari when I switched. Have been using it ever since, it's nice, haven't been back to firefox since. |

That's kind of what I'm afraid of -- Safari being soooo nice that I'll really really start to hate working on Windows/Red Hat boxes... |

| Well Safari and Firefox are very similar. Safari has the built in RSS which is nice too. But basically Safari came with the puter, so it was more convenience than anything else. Now that I've used it for a while I see no reason to switch back to firefox. There's no pop ups, and they are about the same as far as speed. Plus it's Apple. If it's not broke don't fix it. |

I have two wonderful, superb, excellent Apple computers. One is a Mac Mini which lives in my home office and I like it a lot, the other is my Power Mac and I like it a lot too.
I also have a .Mac account.
The killer reason that I use Safari is that it synchronizes my bookmarks and saved passwords between my 2 Macs. I find this exceedingly convenient.
FireFox is good too though, I'm just into this enjoying all things OS X thing. You know how it is if you have a Mac _________________ http://skeptichosting.com/

I like Camino too. I have Firefox, Safari, Camino, and Opera on my Mini but Firefox is my main browser. I like Opera a lot as well... _________________ Todd Walker

I use Safari for browsing and Firefox to open my g-mails.
I've not really had that much of a fettle with Firefox so i couldn't say which is best, but when i use it, i always get asked "Do you really want to do this?" or, "do you want me to remember that?"..if i did, i'd tell you!!!! grrrr ha ha
Safari looks better...and lets have it right..probably none of us are using our cool looking mini's with an enourmous beige monitor are we? Why not? It'll do the job!
On this occasion i'm going for form over function..fickle aren't i? ha ha
Having said that...by buying the mini we've got the best of both worlds, fantastic form and fantastic function...YAY for us!!!
