I am trying to hook up my Mac Mini to my mom's macbook.
Both are running OSX 10.4.11
I turned on internet sharing on my Mini and the MacBook was able to connect just fine but no internet.
When I turn my firewall off , the Macbook gets internet.
Is there a way to get the internet to the other computer without turning off the firewall? |

| Go into System Preferences > Sharing and make sure Web Sharing is checked and running. |

It has always been running on both computers
I have Personal File Sharing, Windows Sharing, and Personal Web Sharing checked
Those are also checked in the Firewall tab as well |

| I don't know if this applies to Tiger (I'm running Leopard now and the firewall stuff is different), but check out this doc from Apple. |
