I have tried everything to speed up file transfers to an Apple TV. Even bought a new 802.11n AEBS. I'm beginning to think the slow 4200rpm drive is part of the problem. Do you think it would be ok to put a 7200rpm drive in the Apple TV? I'm thinking it might speeds things up. It might also help with some of the 2.0.2 software pokiness. I'm just a little worried about creating more heat. That sucker already feels like a hotplate.
