Is this webcam day or something?
I like the styling and price of this Macally, but the specs seem a little lackluster. I'll pass for now. |

I kinda thought it looked like WALL*E. Maybe that's just from seeing all the commercials on TV over the last few days. |

Who's Johnny, who's Johnny?
Oh god, now I have that song stuck in my head.
All kidding aside, I think WALL*E looks better than that new Logitech. It's a shame they couldn't get at least a 1.3MP sensor in there. |

It's UVC, which is good. Isn't it? _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

Yes. UVC compatible webcams are the only ones supported by OS X 10.4.9+. Unless you want to use iUSBCam or macam drivers. |

It amazes me that Mac users have had to wait so long for a reasonably priced, brand-name webcam that simply plugs into a Mac and works with all OS X apps - iChat, Skype, AOL Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN and so on.... _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

Well, that's nonsense, because already the last versions of Tiger were UVC compliant so all UVC compliant camera's will work. For this money I think a better deal is the Hercules Dualpix Exchange, you will see a review HERE. It's for those with a BLACK screen, has a better shape and wasn't stuck in the old days of Mac WHITE like this old fashioned looking webcam and around the same price, but better! Helloooo Macally, it's ALUMINUM in the Mac world nowadays!! _________________ ___________________Jim©

| I like the design but my question will seem out of place there is a game called toysight it is originally designed for the mac and it works with the isight cameras and the xbox 360 web cam as well the only problem is i see with this does this have the same motion sensor tech as the isight does or not because if it doesn't it is worthless to me. |

Since Tiger 10.4.11 one had a choice of using the iSight or a UVC compliant webcam. There is NO MUCH CHOICE yet, but every new webcam which is introduced now, is UVC, if they are not the cheapest of the cheapest Chinese $2.00 crapcams. We don't have to get special Mac webcams, just UVC webcams, because one can use them on Mac, XP SP2, and most Linux repositories have a UVC driver. A programma like iGlasses makes your webcam also adjustable and one does not have to rely on bad Mac software of Logitech and such... _________________ ___________________Jim©

| I was looking around for something cheap for our G4 Mac mini. This might do the trick. |
