|
|
Anyone? I have a couple of netgear USB adapters (WG121) but dont see any Mac drivers on the Netgear website.
Anyone know which (if any) USB adapters are supported ? Or do I have to go the airport route?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if they'll work. I bet you'll have to end up going the Airport route. Are there any Linux drivers out there for them? _________________ 14" 1.25GHz G4 iBook (died)

As I feared.
Think I'll just run it wired for a while - I'm buying one just to test out OSX anyway really - if I get hooked I'll most prob go for an iMac.
Cheers for the response though!

The D-Link ones will work fine with the mini. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Thanks for the D-link hints guys .. it's working fine on the PBG4 I'm using right now so I'm assuming it will also on the Mini. Cheap too!
Cheers,

Sorry to say that the DLink would appear not to be suitable. It works ok but was hanging OSX while surfing and using RDP to my windows box - once back onto a wired connection everything is AOK.
Dammit, airport it is I guess

not really any USB wifi that works, I tried a few with no luck. The Dlink worked but hung the system when it went to sleep.
I was left with no solution as I had to have wifi but no apple store had the units in stock. So I just bought the Dlink wireless bridge. No drivers needed and the mini thinks its working over ethernet.
Works great and the only one that support WPA
