| Assuming Apple comes out with the 3G iPhone next week (or short thereafter), are you buying one? I know that I'll be ordering one. I've been waiting forever to own one. In fact, I've been sans iPod for a while now. |

im really looking forward to buying an iphone. unless the iphone upgrade is significant hardware wise, or theres just some crazy new options, i will buy it. i dont really care about 3g, so if its just 3g put into an existing iphone shell (which i doubt will happen) i will buy a previous gen on ebay.
either way im buying an iphone ! _________________ powerbook g4 15" 1.5ghz backlit keyboard, 80gb 768mb

I'm a big maybe. I would get one without hesitation but the contract price is more than I can afford. My main uses would be as an iPod and PDA with very very occasional phone usage.
I'm really hoping the new announcement includes a cheaper contract option, even if it means having to pay slightly more for the iPhone.
If not then I will probably at some point just get the Touch. _________________ Phil

| I would like to, but I need to sell the one sitting on my desk first. Which, by the way, took the longest time to get. I had so much trouble breaking the contract with my old carrier. |

Despite being ridiculously broke after my 1st year at uni I'm still gonna pick one up, I just can't resist getting one. I honestly believe it will be the best thing I've ever bought (trumping the current no. 1 my macbook ) _________________ MacBook 1.83Ghz C2D, 2GB Ram, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, OS X 10.6.5

| If the rumours about the £269 Pay/Go UK model prove true, without a doubt. |

I would love to see a $100-$200 rebate from AT&T for the phone. That would make me very happy.
I'd also like to see that front-facing cam for video chat. Now that's just cool! |

I will be getting one.
I need a phone and just started looking to get an iPhone last month. When I saw the rumors about the June release I decided to wait even though I don't have 3G in my area.
After reading all the rumors I can't wait to see what is actually included! _________________ ================================
