Maybe this will finally give me the incentive to complete the CinnaMount TV.

Maybe I should run a poll on TV sizes... Very Happy

Finally! It was getting harder and harder to find less expensive gift certificates from the likes of iTunesShop.

48 hour movie rentals? I might have to move to Canada or the UK. Wink

When are we getting those?

Why is it so expensive? I need an incentive not to have a physical product, Amazon and Play sell all the films much cheaper and I get a pretty box to look at.

i thought they were going to offer HD rentals through iTunes not just through the Apple TV.
That was going to be one of the main features for me... although going by the prices it may not be that cheap :S

I would also have to agree with trustory that Amazon and Play offer much better deals than this for the full physical copy.

Word! I get rentals, but I'll never understand why people buy the downloads. I would rather have the physical DVD every day of the week, especially for the same amount of money. Now, if you could burn them, it might be a different story.

It sucks for now, but I have a feeling that HD rentals will come over sooner or later. I think they're just trying to boost Apple TV sales with them at this time. They also need something on the computer desktop to compete with Blu-ray, since it doesn't look like they can come to an agreement with Sony about selling read/write Blu-ray drives or something like that. I'm pretty sure that's what I read somewhere.
