Had an "oops" yesterday, outer glass/plastic/whatever is cracked. LCD and touch features are fine. I have "protective" (lol) film over the display so everything is working, I just need a new front piece.
Has anyone here had to have this done before? Can an apple-store do it? They don't open until 10am and I'm too impatient.
Or
Maybe I'll wait to see if these rumors are true and just claim it on insurance with State Farm.
It almost made a year...

| The glass cracked on the corner of my friend's iPhone and Apple replaced it without any questions. I would definitely bring it in to the Apple store. What do you have to lose? |
