I'm trying to keep a worksheet as a log book for work. The problem is that if I enter a number with a decimal, it rounds that cell to the nearest whole number. I don't want the numbers to be rounded. I know in Excel on a PC, the numbers don't round, but how can I have the numbers not round to the nearest whole number? _________________ 1.42 Ghz Mac Mini

The default shouldn't be to round.
Anyway:
1. Select the cells.
2. On the Menu bar, go Format -> Cells
3. On the number tab, select an appropriate option. General should do for you.
Hope this helps. |
