| I was looking around today for two (maybe three) guitar hangers and ran across these on Musician's Friend. I like how they support the body and neck. I've never been a fan of standard wall hangers because I feel like they can put stress on the neck. Well, at least with heavy guitars with bolt-on necks like the Strat and Tele for extended periods. The temperature swings in this room are also a little dramatic. I just want to get these guitars off the floor to save a little space in my man room (enter Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor grunt here). Any of you guys out there using a wall hanger? If so, whatcha using? |

I have 4 of these in the office. String Swing brand as well but the typical style that you would see. Personally I've never had any problems with having to make adjustments to the guitars I normally would not have to do.

Just curious: don't you have issues with the neck after a while? Gravity helping, I thought this could be an issue. _________________ If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut. |

I've heard of this, but I never have. The worst is that I might have to yweak the truss rod... _________________ Mini 1.83 C2D 2GB/80GB/Combo, 10.5

Sweet! Those are Strats, right?
Here's my main player. It's an American series Tele.
There's an older Ovation Legend off to the left. I'm also in the market for a mid-range bass to bang around on. I've been thinking about either a Fender Deluxe P (MIM) or Dano '63. |

Nice, I had a tele for a awhile and while the sound was great, I just could never get used to the way the body felt. _________________ Mini 1.83 C2D 2GB/80GB/Combo, 10.5

You can't snuggle to it like a Strat, but I like it. They are also a little on the heavy side. You can't beat the twang though. |

I bought a Dano '63 tonight for playing slide guitar. Bobaloo and I have been talking about them on and off for a couple months.

That isn't me playing, but that's the guitar. Mine will be in black though. |

Yeah they are nothing compared to Les Paul's. You could kill someone with one they are so heavy... |

I'm going to order one, too. In my pic, you can see the pickups of my U56, it's burgundy in color.
It sounds great though my small amp:

wow, you guys got some nice gear
I'm a drummer/bassist myself, so I don't really know that much about the glory-grabbing-guitarist side of life (I joke)
Do you guys have any percussion/bass equipment?

I have an old Tama drum set in the attic. I'd like to have it set up, but we just don't have the space at this time. |
