Superdrive Running Too Hot

While I was burning some DVDs last night I noticed some scratch like marks below the surface and after a lot of failers I found out what the problem was.

I soon descovered that the Mac mini's casing was becoming extremly hot and this is because I had the mini sitting on a shelf in my desk which meant that there very little ventilation so I then put it on top of the desk and now the problems solved.

I thought I should post this because people on other sites had the same problem and believed it was the superdrive or the felt pads.

I hope this helps someone that is unfortunate enough to have same problem.
