| I need one for June. Either I buy it now or wait till June for a (hopefully) faster processor, larger hard drive and other small speed improvements, including wireless N. |

I think an update is definitely due, but I waited last year and it ended up being August.
So I would go for an update later in the summer. _________________ Phil

I hope before June but I am not holding my breath. Wouldn't it be great to have the new mini have the specs of the new iMacs
Way to much heat for such a small package but a guy can dream. |

Yeah, it'll definitely refresh before June... of some year
I'm looking forward to it... but at the moment am happy to wait, cause as soon as they come out I know I'll want one, but don't really have the spare cash for it right now. I have a 2.0GHz C2D as my desktop, but would love to repurpose that as a HTPC and grab a new Mac Mini for my desktop when/if they update. Maybe I should just start saving for an iMac for my desktop |

I hope it'll get refreshed some time, but I want a huge price drop as well as massively improved specs (I'm dreaming).
I reckon it'll get refreshed in June. |

Rumor has it it'll be a few weeks after June, likely before the school season. If you REALLY need one right away, you can always upgrade the CPU, get the Sonnet Aria N card, and upgrade the RAM (it can handle up to 3-4GB's).

I don't think I'll buy another Mini. Not because I dislike them, but because this Mini is going to be more than sufficient for the next two years for what I do. Unless, of course, Adobe comes out with some really, really graphic intensive Photoshop or Flash - beyond what they already are. And when that happens, I'll retire this to a sole media center, and then buy a Mac Pro or something. And because I am a gamer and want to switch all my computers over to Macs, I'll probably buy a Mac Pro much sooner. The Mini is awful at running games - the vid card blows. _________________ Mac Mini - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz; 2GB DDR2 RAM; 120GB HD.

I don't think you have to worry about Adobe for a while, they'll be releasing a 64-bit CS4 suite for Windows, but the Mac version will remain 32-bit, and likely not more demanding than the current version. |

Any idea when CS4 will be out for Windows? _________________ Mac Mini - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz; 2GB DDR2 RAM; 120GB HD.

It doesn't have a set date yet, but likely towards the end of the year (around Nov.) |

Damn. And I'm just getting used to CS3. I stuck with Photoshop 7 for too long, it seems. _________________ Mac Mini - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz; 2GB DDR2 RAM; 120GB HD.
