Gadget Wrap today announced its debut along with its first product offerings, the Gadget Wrap KeySkin Keyboard Protector series for Apple wired and wireless keyboards, as well as MacBook keyboards. According to the company, each Gadget Wrap KeySkin Keyboard Protector is made from super thin, high quality, durable silicone to ensure it provides keyboards with exceptional protection and a tailor-made fit. Available in a variety of colors, the keyboard protectors help guard and protect against liquid spills, food crumbs, dirt and dust, and other contaminates that can easily damage or destroy a keyboard. Prices start at $24.95.

I just bought one for my aluminum wireless keyboard from zCover for $20, but it doesn't have preprinted lettering.

There's also iSkin who offers similar products, including one for the Apple keyboard (wired version only, unless I'm missing something from their website).

I haven't used their keyboard skins, but I do own an iSkin eVo for my old 3rd generation iPod, the fit is perfect and the quality is excellent.

This is typically the case with most skins.
...but with a keyboard skin you don't have to lick your fingers each time you eat a potato chip Smile

I think the black looks great with the aluminum.

My buddy works in a garage and they cover the keyboard that the mechanics use with an ugly plastic bag. Smile

I wish they made one. I like the way their skin for the wired keyboard wraps around the sides.

Agreed! It kind of makes me wish that Apple used black keys instead of white. Sure you can get a skin, but I don't really like the feeling of typing with one.

I have never tried a skin with my aluminum keyboard, but I have a feeling that it would make the keys feel mushy and slow.

I third the black look though. That looks really sporty.
