Apple has released iTunes 7.6.2, QuickTime 7.4.5 and Front Row 2.1.3 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, iTunes 7.6.2 provides bug fixes to improve stability and performance. QuickTime 7.4.5 includes fixes that enhance reliability, improve compatibility with third-party applications, and address security issues. This update is recommended for all QuickTime 7 users. And last but not least, the Front Row 2.1.3 update provides for bug fixes and improved iTunes compatibility.

I lost my Apple TV in iTunes again after installing this group
I was also hoping that Apple would open up those HD rentals for iTunes and Front Row during this round of updates. |

| How about some Airport Express streaming for Front Row? That's what I'd like to see! |

I'm hoping this update to FrontRow will fix my crashes lately. I've had a bunch of crashes when watching DVDs. The symptom is random, but occurs like this:
DVD begins just fine
Pausing the disk will work as expected
Can't unpause it, can't escape or CMD+TAB out of FrontRow
Have to CTRL+CMD+ESC (kill) FrontRow. Then the next time I enter FrontRow, it's forgotten where I left off. Very aggravating! _________________ My hardware:

I've had that same issue with a few DVDs in Front Row 2. I just can't remember what they were to restest. That being said, I haven't had it happen since applying the update. But I've only played like three DVDs so far (I Am Legend, Evan Almighty and Michael Clayton). Was there a particular DVD that you were having issues with? |

No, it's always seemed random to me. After it happens, I can kill Front Row, restart it, and it will play correctly to the end of the disc, so it's not like a permanent repeatable error. _________________ My hardware:

To avoid OT, I started a new thread. _________________ My hardware:

iRob or Ben tex. Are these original DVDs or like Video_TS burns from Toast or DVD2one without menus. I've never had trouble with Front Row jamming up on me like that. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Cool. I just wondered if that made a difference. It sounds completely random then. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
