| I was thinking about subscribing to either Macworld or Mac|Life, or maybe even both of them. I was wondering what Mac magazine that you guys like the best. These are the only ones that I've heard of (or been able to find), but I included an other option. |

I voted 'Other'. In the UK, my favourite Mac mag is MacUser. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

It looks like they offer it here in the US as well. Is there anything particular that makes it your favorite? |

I've had a subscription to Macworld for years. I know most of the same content is available online, but I like having a hard copy. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

Well, it takes itself seriously, it's understated and stylish. MacUser has a good balance between tutorials, editorials, reviews and adverts. _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

I subscribe to both MacWorld and Mac/Life. I liked Mac/Life better when it was Mac Addict. I still get Mac/Life because my subscription continued when the change was made. I probably won't renew that but will continue with MacWorld. I've had a subscription to both for years. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

I've only picked up one or two issues at the newsstand, but I think Mac/Life has slipped since the name and format change. They were also much thinner in the content department. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

I agree, I wasn't at all happy since the change and I will not renew my subscription when it ends. I had just renewed MacAddict a month or so before the change. You are very right about the content being thin, a major disappointment. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

| I recently dropped mine to Macworld. I still think it's the best though. |

| It looks and sounds like Macworld is the winner. Maybe I'll put MacLife on hold for a while. The reviews on Amazon weren't very positive either. |

You can check out MacLife online or pick up one from the newstand, but I think you'll find MacWorld is the better of the two. As mentioned above, Mac/Life is nowhere near the magazine it was when it was MacAddict. I liked MacAddict but I've also been a subscriber to MacWorld for many years. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

| I've learned so much from MacWorld, but than again, I haven't read any of the others. Maybe I'll stop by MicroCenter tomorrow buying a copy of Mac/Life to see how cool it is. |

I vote for Macworld as well. When I first got into Macs I liked them all. After following Apple so closely Macworld tends to be the most useful of them all. Things like Mac Gems etc.
iCreate is a good magazine if you are a novice and you're not the type to click around and experiment for yourself. Each months mag looks redundant to me though. It seems mainly focused on the iLife apps. and they really are fairly simple to figure out on your own. |

Doesn't that really apply to all magazines though. I get MacWorld, PC Mag, Computer Power User, ..., like 8 computer magazines cause I'm in the IT field. They all seem to repeat the same thing after a few issues, like they ran out of new or something. They are VERY educational and helpful most of the time though. |
