|
|
I am desperate.
I just installed Xcode Tools,
and after restart, there is a flashing icon of earth.
No apple logo.
If i leave it a while, it turns to a flashing finder icon with a question mark.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I rebooted with tiger dvd, and repaired permissions, but with no change.
If i keep pressing power button, it gets me to command prompt and if i type mac-boot, it boots normally!!!!
Any help appreciated, PLEASE!!!
Mac mini, 1,42 GHz, 1 GB ram. |

Sounds like it may be trying to netboot.
Here is a link describing someone else experiencing this problem and the resolution. Hope it helps. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

greg, you are my hero!!!
Yep, it was trying to netboot.
I changed startup disk to macintosh HD, and now everything is back normal.
Thanks mate! |
