Does anyone know why my Mac Mini cannot connect to my Time Capsule set at 5GHz 11n ?

My iMac connects straight away no problem.

Even if I turn off security entirely the Mac Mini sees it but just won't connect.

About Mac tells me it has an Airport Extreme.

The best I can get working is 11g with wpa but no n 2.4GHz or 5GHz

Darn it you are right!!!

I just saw the Airport Extreme and assumed it was the same as the Airport Extreme in my iMac and Time Capsule.

Who would of thought there would be confusion with that one!!!

Thanks

You are wrong Smile The Mini has 802.11g hardware, so no unlocking.

There were a few iMacs, MacBook Pros and MacBooks that originally shipped with 802.11n hardware that wasn't enabled, and you could buy the enabler and unlock the 802.11n capability. The Mini isn't amongst them unfortunately.
