You hear some people say that they took some part of their life for granted, and didn't really appreciate it. Not so for me. 19 was a great age to be, and most importantly, I knew it at the time. I enjoyed every day of it.

I have this theory that at any point in life, most people never have youth, spare time and money at the same instant. When you're in your teens you have time and youth, but no money. From your twenties to your fifties, as you get more money, you have less free time. Then when you retire, you finally get time and money - but youth is long gone. That's why 19 is a fabulous age - you have youth and free time, and you can get by without much money.

I think you've hit the money there, I'm at the limit of my overdraft I have no savings and about £30 cash left for the term but I'm still having a bloody good time! Very Happy

I would think there is a big party planned, it's not so bad. I remember when I turned 40, my daughter was born that year so I didn't have a lot of time to think about turning 40. You'll do fine, devo, Happy big one to you. I worry about the 5 birthdays, it'll be awhile before I see one of those again.

I'm a future Mini owner. Just as soon as an updated Mini is released I'll be getting one. Already have a MacBook and a Mac Pro. It's an addiction, these Macs....

51!, hell just a young pup.
I've got 20 years on you, and hope to get 20 or 25 more.
I wonder what my Mac will be like then?

I was thinking the twenty somethings like myself would've won this, hmm.

Wait a minute, I have to stick my teeth back in.....

That doesn't surprise me. There may be more people in our age range that can appreciate the price and performance of the Mac mini. We also like to sit in front of bigger displays. Our eyes aren't as good as they used to be. Wink

I've also got a macbook, (but I don't have the money to get a Mac Pro unfortunately) and plan to get my first mini when it's updated too to use as a HTPC.

I would have been able to vote with the twenty somethings like us if a new mac mini had come out by now and I'd got it.

I think I'll wait till after my 21st birthday in under a month before getting one even if new mac minis are released in the next few weeks. I don't want to go out and buy one and then find somebody decided to get me one.

If organized by decade, it looked like the 30-somethings "win" by a significant margin.
