Hi to all,
Long time no post, but lurking
I found a dusty PSP, and I would like to connect it to my wireless Mini network.
ok, I got plenty of problems due to the old firmware and stuff, but I also wonder:
It is unclear to me whether or not 802.11g will be recognized by a PSP. If the PSP recognizes only 802.11b, then how can I config my network as a mixed network (for b & g devices). I tried to find some clues googling it, but no luck.
As I am planning to make some purchases to be able to have my PSP connecting to Internet, I'd like to make sure the network won't be a problem later on (I got successful messages of connection from the PSP, but no luck browsing the Internet, as I am still with the 1.5 firmware).
As a follow-up question, if I need to setup a mixed network, will I notice a big difference on how my Mini access the Internet (ok, I guess that depends on my provider, but what is your own experience?)
Thanks a lot in advance to all for your help. _________________ If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut. |

Im pretty sure most g routers will work with b or g devices, so you don't need to configure anything. _________________ MacBook 1.83Ghz C2D, 2GB Ram, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, OS X 10.6.5
