| I'm using a 17 inch SyncMaster 712n made by Samsung, and having no problems at all. The display is the sharpest and clearest that I have ever seen. |

| First Mac I ever bought. I got the Mini 1.25, then plugged a 512 chip in it. I am most pleased, and am thinking of buying another one.[/i] |

| My second Mac. My first is in the garage, a Mac SE30 with a dead tube. I'm really liking the mini too, a nice addition to my 2 Windows & 1 Linux boxes. |

| I'm happy to report that my mini that had problems with the green dots on a ViewSonic 19" doesn't have a single problem on my new Samsung 910T. However, I was using a Belkin cable, so that might have been the cause. |

To make sure, you might try the same cable with the Samsung or Samsung's cable with the Viewsonic? I heard stories that the connection (not tight enough) matters sometimes! _________________ take care,

Yeah, I heard those too. I tightened everything down. However, I returned the Belkin cable (the ViewSonic didn't come with one) so I can't test it with the other cable. I'm just happy everything works. _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

I had the same problems using DVI on a Planar PL191M but not problems whatsoever using the VGA connection. This weekend I plan to to put my Mini and a Windows box on a IOGEAR KVM. Wish me luck.
If this is a driver issue than Apple and ATI better get together before this spreads outside the Mac community. _________________ Is that a Mac Mini in your pocket or are you just happy to see me. |
