Thanks for all the replies guys. I had forgotten about the Firefox speedup tricks and found them here:
http://forevergeek.com/open_source/make_firefox_faster.php
There are basically three config lines to change and a new one to add. Doing so will speed it up CONSIDERABLY -- just about to Safari levels in my experience. If you use Firefox, click the link above and do what is suggested immediately! _________________ Todd Walker

| I use Opera for most browsing activities. I occasionally use Firefox. Both are cross platform and I need to use Windows and Linux on a regular basis for software development and it's nice to have basically the same browser on all systems. |

I just downloaded Camino with Camioptions from macupdate and I love it! Much faster than firefox or Safari. By disabling the cache and enabling HTTP pipeling & Proxy pipeling with Camioptions, this browser flies!

Oh wow, that's just a shockingly large difference!
It might be just my imagination but Flash animations seem to be running a lot more smoothly too now.
Thanks for the tip! |
