|
|
I'm considering the replacement of my ageing PC with a Mini, but the lack of a mic input troubles me.
I only play Counter Strike 1.6 but would be lost without the ability to chat during games.
Can any gamers on here let me know how they get around the problem...
Will an iMic allow me to use my standard 3.5mm jack headset under bootcamp to play windows games or is a USB headset a better option - and will that still be recognised under XP in bootcamp?
Cheers,
Si. |

A usb headset Works better.
Depends on how much you are going to spend on one.
Logitech makes some nice ones the sound quality is better using a usb headset because most usb headsets are in fact usb sound card's with a mic out only option. |

| It would work just fine as long as it is compatible with your operating system. |
