I wanted to apologize to the 123Macmini community for the delays with posting some news over the last 48 hours or so. Charles has been working on some new stuff for the site and doing a little server maintenance since yesterday. This has made it virtually impossible to FTP to the 123Macmini server during the afternoon time period. Hopefully, this work will be completed by tomorrow and we can get back to normal.

No problem, Glenn; I hadn't noticed any delays in the posting of Mac news. I'll be interested in seeing what Charles is up to.

Thanks guys! I just wanted to let everyone know why we were behind. I was like an hour or two late with news of Mac OS X 10.5.2 and over five with the latest Apple TV software update.

Mostly overdue server and database house cleaning. We will be launching new sections and "things" on 123Macmini soon, though. I know Brian has mentioned this in the past, but we got a little behind this winter when he ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. I think most of the stuff will be ready to go by April 1st now.

Well, thanks for subscribing to our RSS feed. I was surprised that Apple didn't put out a more official press release in the morning along with the Aperture 2.0 release. I thought the press release they put out later in the day was cute, but a little odd.

Yes, and thank you for not re-posting that sillyness verbatim.
I'm all for Apple being a part of everyday life, but that blurb on their feed was just...well, you said it: Odd. Felt forced or contrite.
