I went with the Combo update and have just done my iMac at work. I don't notice any big differences so far except two. (1) Some widgets that stopped working after a clean install now work again. (2) You can now have an option to make folders behave the way they used to in Tiger (folder drilling) and they can also once again display in the Dock as a folder! Looks good so far! _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

I installed it and the graphics update that came right after it.
The only thing that is annoying is that it cleared out all of my "Places" entries. A bit annoying. Also, SmartScrollX is no longer working. That is all I have to report thus far. _________________ Mac mini core 2 duo 2.33/2 GB RAM/160 GB 5K160, Dell 20.1" wide-aspect

Heh. Time Machine is busily copying the new system files.
So what was the graphics update for? I neglected to read it, I was busy with something else. I like the time machine menubar item.
I need to clean tarantula cages and build my BeOS machine the rest of the night... I'll check back to see if anyone has had any startling revelations with this update. _________________ Mac mini core 2 duo 2.33/2 GB RAM/160 GB 5K160, Dell 20.1" wide-aspect

Mail is STILL not showing the bodies in some of my messages. I need to switch to raw mode to see it. Back to GyazMail. _________________ Mac mini core 2 duo 2.33/2 GB RAM/160 GB 5K160, Dell 20.1" wide-aspect

I was having trouble with other computers on my network showing up in the Finder. They would come and go sporadically. 10.5.2 appears to have fixed that one for me. No other problems to report yet, but it's early. |

I'm going to go with the Combo update. I've been having some trouble with the Finder, Mail and general slowness lately (really slow startups too). The slowness set it about a week ago. I was just about to reinstall Leopard over the weekend, but I had a feeling that 10.5.2 would be coming this week. I'm not sure if the update will cure me, but it's worth a shot. Wish me luck! |

I thought mine was going to hang. It went very slow. Where is emoticon for sweat running down your forehead? |

| I just started to download the Combo. It looks like I should be able to apply it around midnight. It could be my ISP, but I'm only getting 79KB/Sec. |

A solid menu bar and hierarchical menus. I feel complete again! Sometimes change isn't for the better Apple. |
