Want to know more about when and where your Mac was built ?
This site will let you load in your computer's unique serial number and after a few microseconds, it will decode all those letters and numbers to tell you about your Mac.
Think of it like a Birth Certificate...
Might come in handy one day...

Hmmm...this for my MacMini 1.83 Core2Duo/1GB/80GB HD Intel:
Production year: 1997
Production week: 46 (November)
Production number: 7415 (within this week)

| Factory refurbs should have a serial number that starts with "RM" - you don't need the decoder to tell that, although the decoder did properly indicate it for my refurb'd G5 D1.8. |

My MacBook is a refurb and it picked up my serial number. It's a late '07 MacBook with a birthdate of '08. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram
