Posted by: Glenn
Apple has posted a video of the keynote speech given by CEO Steve Jobs at Macworld 2008. "Watch Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveil Apple's latest innovations at the Macworld 2008 Conference in San Francisco, California. See the video-on-demand event right here, exclusively in QuickTime and MPEG-4." notes the company. The video shows the introduction of the MacBook Air, Time Capsule and more. It runs approximately an hour and thirty minutes long.

I've been watching it for about 45 minutes so far on my LCDTV, and it's decent. The video quality stinks, particularly in the dark scenes, but audio is decent.
Last year's keynote was on the iTunes Podcast section about a day after the keynote. Let's hope this year will be too, as that was very nice quality. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

Jobs is still the best at delivering a keynote. I got a kick out of seeing the MacBook Air's motherboard next to a pencil. I know everything is small these days (just look at the Mac mini), but that still blows my mind. I would have never imagined all this crap 15 years ago.

I don't understand the pencil measurement. The mobo in the Mac mini is smaller than a pencil and from the looks smaller than the MacBook Air's mobo.
When I saw the Air's mobo it made me think. How small could Apple make a mini using the new Intel small chip footprint (forgot the tech term they used)? |

If you take away the optical drive, probably as small as the ports would allow. Maybe something like half the size of a DVD case. |

The quality is better than the iPhone version. We're talking 640 x 360 at 1590 kbps. It does lack the Randy Newman performance at the end though. |
