| Is it possible to import DVDs into iTunes for play on the ipod itouch? Not sure with all the DRM stuff, but I just want to be able to watch my DVDs while travelling without repurchasing them through iTunes. |

You can import and convert them to MP4 with Handbrake. Once you've done that, you can drag them into iTunes and have them added to your iPod. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

The process I run (recording through EyeTV) reduces the average two hour film to about 450MB in iPod format. Never used Handbrake but heard good things about it. _________________

Fairly easy if you stick to the presets. It can get complicated if you want to play with various settings.
As for space, it really depends heavily on your quality settings and the length of the film. I was quite successful at encoding animated TV show episodes (~22 minutes) for a 5G iPod (less resolution than the iPod touch) to about 250MB each with Handbrake. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

I recently did a two hour movie to Ipod 320x176 H.264.ACC (I think this was the IPOD low Res setting in handbrake)
The file size ended up at 490MB as an mp4 and looked great on my iPod

I did a disk from the season 3 Doctor Who DVD, after converting it with Handbrake, it was 1.5 GB and looked great. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram
