I went into the local Apple store for the first time in a long time and I must say, this new stuff (aluminium keyboards, macbooks etc), really looks good.
I just cant afford to keep up with buying it all. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

Which one? The mini store in the Galleria or the full store in Des Peres? I've only been to one ever when I was in Chicago and there was 5 hours to waste before our train left. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Who can? I have Apple taste and a beer budget.
I really like the new keyboards. I wish Apple would redo the Mighty Mouse though. That thing is such a POS. They could also add a trackpad to the wireless keyboard while they are at it. Now that would be really cool! |

Wireless keyboard + trackpad = BEST BLOODY IDEA EVER!
But yeah, I'm a student, and I'm STILL saving for a MacBook... and I think I will STILL be saving for a MacBook for months to come. _________________

Yea, a friend and I were at the one in Dallas. I was walking around wanting to buy something but found nothing. Everything I can afford I already have...which isn't much..
Other than an iPod Touch, but I am still on the fence when it comes to that product. |

| I am at my local Apple Store quite often, it is in the mall I go to a lot. I really like the new keyboards, and if they added a trackpad, that would be amazing! Who knows, maybe we will see something like that at MacWorld. (Probably very unlikely) |

I went to the one in the Galleria...I didn't know it was one in Des Peres? It's a full size store? Maybe I check it out one day.
You can catch the metrolink to the Galleria now days.
The wireless keyboard is really nice...I may can talk the misses into one for my birthday in Feb., along with a wireless mouse. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

I gotta go to SWIC to catch a Metrolink . Now is the mini store like some of the educational store where they only carry iPods, iPhones, some accessories and then can order Macs for you and service them. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Daggit, I have to remember you are a little further out in Coal country.
It also sells Mac's on site, if I'm not mistaken. They have all on display anyway. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

The savings on the Higher Education side are pretty good, it almost makes sense to sign up at your local uni for a short course just to get the discount. _________________ Phil
