Today if I press ctrl-shift-option-3 to take a screenprint, I can hear the "camera shutter" sound, but not PNG file gets saved to my desktop.

I've tried rebooting, and even searching thru the entire file system to see if they were being saved elsewhere, but I can't find anything.

Can anyone recommend any other troubleshooting steps?

Thanks! Smile

It's command+shift+3. They are saved in the file naming scheme of "Picture [#].png" onto your desktop.

Command Shift 3 -- duhhhhh.

Well, for trivia, if you press ctrl-shift-command-3, it'll make the "I'm taking a picture" sound but not save anything to the desktop. Smile

I'm sure it copies to the clipboard like in Windows.

Argh, I was going to try pasting it into something earlier (when the shots weren't saving on my desktop), but I was heading out the door...

You're right ... adding CTRL in the mix puts it in the clipboard. Smile
