Call it my taste in movies, but I loved the movie "Constantine" in theatres, I ran out to the store this morning to pick up my Deluxe Edition DVD's
I liked the movie for lots of reasons, a big reason, though, was that it was the first movie that Gavin Rossdale (whom I am a HUGE fan of) has gotten to play a pretty big part in. (Balthazaar, Halfbreed) I thought Gavin did an excellent job.
Now, Keanu... That's a whole other discussion _________________ Me with Woz!

I thought it was an awesome. I really liked Gavin and whoever played the girl. The depiction of hell was pretty frickin' cool too. I sat next to someone on a plane flight once who said that he did creative consulting, I guess. He thought up ideas for movies and such, and he thought that hell should look exactly like that and was just blown away by the movie. He was quite the character, .
My friend bought the DVD and I'm thinking about it. Tell us how the extras are, though. _________________ Computer Engineer

One of the featurettes explained the whole concept of what they wanted hell to look like in Constantine, they wanted it to look like the moment during an atomic bomb blast when the heatwave strikes and starts vaporizing everything just before the shockwave comes and blows everything away. They felt that Hell would most likely be a suspended frame of time inside of that moment during an atom bomb blast.
Pretty clever! Very effective illustration I'd say. _________________ Me with Woz!

That flick was pretty good but the Matrix is my favorite Keanu movie. They blew it with the sequels. |

I have not seen the movie yet but from what I have read from, metalsmiths/jewelers are getting a good laugh form that movie. From a metalsmith forum I frequent, I heard there is a scene where they throw a bunch of gold jewelry on a iron skillet and melt the metal to make gold bullets. LMAO, that is funny as hell. _________________ Mac since '86
