Snarb.tk today announced the immediate availability of Cover Stream 1.0, an innovative iTunes controller that gives you quick and easy access to iTunes Cover Flow right from your desktop. Cover Stream also includes Flip-Browsing, a feature that allows you to pick an album, flip it over, and pick a track. Album artwork and track info are then displayed in a small, floating bezel window for a few seconds when tracks change. In addition, Cover Stream's Dock icon reflects the album artwork of the song you are currently listening to, so you can always see your music at a glance. And with fully customizable keyboard shortcuts, Cover Stream gives you complete control over iTunes from any application. You can play, pause, skip, rate, adjust sound volume, hide or show iTunes, and much more, without interrupting your workflow.

| I'm not sure this is worth $15, but it looks really cool. I always thought it would be a neat idea for Apple to include iPhone and iPod touch like album flipping in iTunes. It makes Cover Flow way more useful because you can get to the song you want on the album. This would be really handy in full-screen mode. |

I tried it on my fresh install of Leopard and none of my album artwork showed in any view. I messed around with it for a good hour with no improvements.
That's strike two for Snarb.tk. I've tried this software and their FrontRow alternative and they both have not worked as described. _________________ → craigerskine.com

| It seems to be working fine for me. My album art showed right up. I like having the album art in the dock. Is there anything free out there that will do the same? This is a cool little application, but I'm not willing to buy it at this time. |

It doesnt see any music unless the files are in yout itunes music folder. They should allow for linking to library on ext drive.

It sees my music and yes, all of the music is in my iTunes music folder. It just won't display any of the album art. All of my music is AAC with embedded album art. iTunes and FrontRow both display the album artwork just fine. _________________ → craigerskine.com
