I'd like to see a company make a mini tower like this with a
power supply and mounts for a 3.5" hard drive Laughing These are actually firewire drive enclosures by transintl.com

Haha. I want I want I want.

It does look neat, though when you shrink the PowerMac design, it does start to look a little stupid. I would, however, I like a PowerMac that comes in a MicroATX case, though. They're about half the volume of an ATX case, but can still hold a considering amount of stuff. Considering we won't have to watercool our fastest procs when the Mactels come out (unless Apple's planning something big) I think that it would be possible to condense the design into a microtower.

That being said, why would you want any company but Apple to make a PowerMac clone?

Edit: I would throw a Mini in there as a mod, but for $500 just for the enclosure, I'd rather just get another Mini.

Too bad it's only overseas and doesn't have the same fit and finish as the PowerMacs are.

I like it! If I got a PowerMac, I would be tempted to buy one of these enclosures for my mini...they would be SO cute together! Smile
