SuperSync today released SuperSync 2.0, a new version of their music library synchronization software for Mac OS X. SuperSync lets users synchronize their music libraries between computers locally and over the Internet. New features in version 2.0 include a redesigned status window, easier WAN access and added help options, simultaneous track uploads and downloads, support for unicode and long file names, and improved iTunes integration. SuperSync 2.0 is priced at $29 for a 2-machine license. A demo is available for download.

I don't know if it was just something I did wrong (I followed the online instructions) but I have just spent the last 4 hrs re-building my itunes library after giving this program a shot.
I sync'd up my MacBook and my Mini and then ended up with about 2000 dead linked song files. I had to re-import all my songs and the worst part, I lost most of my artwork!
Sorry, but this one didn't do it for me..... _________________ Intel 2.4Ghz/4G Ram/1TB HDD/Server MacMini

I gave this a try one time and didn't have much luck with it. Based on myminirocks report, it doesn't sound like it's got much better. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Seems like backing up the iTunes library first is a very good idea! |

|
|
I downloaded, installed, and configured SuperSync on my Mac at home and my PC at work in about 10 minutes per machine and SuperSync is working flawlessly for me. All my music and playlists stayed intact and I found it easy to use and effective tool for me to access my extensive music collection anywhere.
What I really like about SuperSync is that it works cross platform because I have to use both platforms. Plus, it just plainly works. I love not having to copy all my music to my iPod and still missing out on some because of storage limitations of my iPod. |
