iPod Classic 160GB. Better battery life, and enough storage for my massive media collection (maybe ) _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

I wish they would've thrown that drive in the Touch. I'm not sure what to buy now. |

I was going to order the iPod Touch, but I found out I'll be getting it as a gift.... so I'll wait a little longer. It's just cool. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

You wouldn't believe how much I agree with you. I was totally split between the 2 when they first came out, but then I realized that I might as well get the Classic with the huge storage now, and a Touch when it drops in price and comes in larger storage capacities later (ex. a few years). _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

| I am amazed that the suffle is getting no love. It's a great litle player that you dont feel bad taking to work with you. Stuff it full of podcasts and your good to go. |

I'm pretty sure that your joking but just to make sure...
It does have the standard buttons on the front to navigate your music (play, rewind,ff, etc etc) And a handy switch on the bottom to play your songs in the sequence you put them in. So if I'm listening to a podcast and I want to jump to another I hit the button and go. |

On the 1st gen shuffle, it looks like this:
Sorry about the German language, couldn't find it in English. The three positions on the rear switch are "Off", "Sequential" and "Shuffle". _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

cheers,
I looked up the new version earlier and saw the switch
I always assumed it just shuffled.
BTW I did know you could skip to the next song if you didn't want to listen to a particular song, I just didn't think you had control of the order. _________________ Phil

Why are you sure
I've never been interested in the shuffle, I didn't get it. So I've never actually looked at one before and I've never seen one in the flesh. I have seen a picture of the front but never the switch on the back, which was why I assumed it just shuffled. After all it is called the Shuffle. _________________ Phil

| Hey it was a honest mistake and I can see how you might not know if it could play strait if you wanted it to. But I thought you were pulling my leg so figured I would hedge my bets. |

I got the iPod Classic 80gb. The iPod touch was just too small for my ever growing music collection and when my dad bought a new MacBook I got £85 off . _________________ MacBook 1.83Ghz C2D, 2GB Ram, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, OS X 10.6.5
