More than likely Serpent...more than likely.

At this point, I would like to add my own observation in relation to the question of....

'Conspiracy vs Stupidity'.

It never ceases to amaze me, that so many believe in 'conspiracies', when the reality is, plain olde, everyday incompetence, accounts for 99.99999% of man~made disasters and everyday f*ckups. Shocked

Cheers

After Apple screwed up my up to date order like 5 times, they called my local AS to arrange a free copy to be given to me. When I went into the store to pick up they gave me a reciept. On it was the charge of 129.99 then the next line there was a credit code and a credit of 128.54, leaving a balance due of 1.45. pretty close to what showed up on the OP statement. I wonder if some dummy just entered the transaction wrong.

There was nothing in my receipt and invoice about a temporary £1 charge when I ordered my upgrade of Leopard.

If you are calling me the dummy Serpent you are mistaken as everything was done correctly.I phoned Apple and everything was okay.

Don't jump to conclusions.

I think Serpent meant the dummy on the other side of the ledger. Sad

Ok, apologies I have had a bad day today. I just wasn't sure who he meant when he said "making the transaction" I instantly thought he meant me the buyer.
Confused

[quote="Aquafire"].

Seriously....

What yer going get for £7 in London these days eh ?

Honestly, a ride on the Tube will cost you far more.

And forget taking the bus home me olde mate.Cool

Cripes...I wonder..

Can you even get a nice feed of Fish 'n' Chips plus a cup of tea for that amount ?

I doubt it.

In the end...

While I sympathise, all I can say is...

Count your lucky stars, your not forking through the nose for Vista.Rolling Eyes

Cheers

£4 for the tube, but I wouldn't call it nice.
The bus is 24 x 7 and £2 cash or £1 on Oyster pre pay.
Shit fish and chips can be had for about £5.50, but if you want anything remotely edible you will be looking at £8 and that's before you start on the tea Shocked

Vista! What kind of idiot would pay £200 for a poor copy of Jaguar with bits missing?
