Apple finally updated the Macbook, but i think it's a shame they haven't introduced a new design like the aluminium one. Although at least they have upgraded the graphics. Now they all have the Intel GMA X3100. As the rumours have speculated. Also they all have been upgraded to Santa Rosa.
Here are the new specs:
White: 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
80GB hard drive1
Combo drive
Ships: Within 24 hours

or as low as $26 a month
White: 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
120GB hard drive1
Double-layer SuperDrive
Ships: Within 24 hours
Free Shipping
$1,299.00
or as low as $31 a month
Black: 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
160GB hard drive1
Double-layer SuperDrive
Ships: Within 24 hours
Free Shipping
$1,499.00
or as low as $36 a month _________________ -- 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini, 4Gb RAM, 120gb HDD, MAC OS X Tiger (Waiting for snow leopard now) --

would be nice...but somehow i dont think it will happen. Apple didn't make any media effort to show the core2duo mac mini and this might be a sign that it is coming to an end. or something new might come along, something that is slightly more expandable maybe. with apple you just don't know _________________ -- 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini, 4Gb RAM, 120gb HDD, MAC OS X Tiger (Waiting for snow leopard now) --

Maximum RAM has gone up from 2GB to 4GB.

A poster called Dr. Zeissler predicted the upgrading of the MacBook in the "Why I think the Mini will be upgraded with Leopard" thread on the Mac Mini forum. I have to admit that I was sceptical, but he was correct with both the details of the upgrade and the date that it happened.
He has also predicted that the Mini will be similarly updated by week 45 of this year (week ending 11th November). We will have to wait and see! _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

No MacBook updates have shown up on the UK Apple Online Store, nor the UK Apple Store For Education.
Why, Apple, why? _________________

| They'll probably update the UK and other overseas sites overnight. I've noticed them do that before. |

Bugger...i do hope he is right but i also wish he isn't cos if i knew i might have waited that little bit more and get leopard and better graphics but o'well life goes on and i'll have to live with what i've got. Even though it is still great! _________________ -- 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini, 4Gb RAM, 120gb HDD, MAC OS X Tiger (Waiting for snow leopard now) --

They haven't updated the specs page quite yet. Can't be long now I guess.

They had when I looked, the spec page mentioned the new graphics etc. _________________ Phil

Everything appears to have been updated now, albeit with incredibly high RAM prices... _________________

Apple's RAM prices, particularly on the 4GB upgrades, are insane. My mother in law just got a MacBook Pro, and I got her 4GB for $170USD, when Apple wanted $700 for the upgrade. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

If you buy 2 separate (same brand, and model number) sticks it can be about $120 now. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
