Well i don't know much about 80s stuff since i was even born then, but lots of cool/funny stuff came from that period Very Happy
Robin, I was around in the 80s. It was a crass, arrogant, greedy, self-indulgent decade of awful, self-satisfied smugness illuminated by pink and pastel blue neon.

But it was never as ghastly as that movie trailer. Wink

Who sang "She's like the wind"?
I can't remember and it's driving me nuts. No, that's not a band, that's my predicament.
August 1, 1981 MTV played their very first music video. Name the song and artist.
If memory serves, it was "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles.
CORRECT! MTV's first video ever played on air = "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the "Buggles"

first question is still up for grabs....

That one is too easy.

Ratt! Cool

Funny side note. There is a new song parody on the Stern Show for Robin using that song.
and St. Elmo's fire?
My first thought was "Chariots of Fire" Embarassed but that is not exactly a "Brat Pack " movie and it was from 1981.

We have the DVD

Most of our movies are older though, from the 40s, 50s, 60s etc.

The 80s was a decade that went by so fast (and most would say that was a good thing) Laughing
