hi had my mac mini 1.66 core duo since febuary this year and as i now in a full time job i want to upgrade, now one problem im not to sure on whether to go for the macbook or the black and silver imac, i like the idea of sitting downstairs with the macbook on my lap but i also like the fact that the imac is so incredibly gorgeous. can anyone help me make my mind up

| If you are going to keep your mini or the monitor then go for the Macbook. |

i'd hold on a little bit to see what the new macbook is like. It might be more appealing than the imac _________________ -- 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Mac Mini, 4Gb RAM, 120gb HDD, MAC OS X Tiger (Waiting for snow leopard now) --

I bought the iMac, but I wish I had gone for the macbook now.
As mentioned above I'd also hang on a few weeks and see if the Macbook gets an upgrade. _________________ Phil

may i ask why???
it just seems like i may keep the mini as my desktop computer and get a macbook for when i go out, or on holiday or whatever! its just the GMA950 thats putting me of the macbook and the screensize if it was 15 i would buy it no problems _________________ Intel Mac Mini 1.66ghz

Next MacBook upgrade is believed to be a move to SR and it will require new MB's in the MB's and it'll most likely be the GM965 Express chipset like in the MBP's which only supports GMA X3100, which has greatly improved graphics compared to the GMA 950. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Do you want/need the portability of a laptop or no? The answer to that simple question will decide it all. _________________ -=iMav=-
