I have a handicap mouse (the mouse fell on the floor and the left click button isnt working) so i redefined the configuration. On my pc i had no problem altering it in the intelli mouse driver and i seem to have the same options in the intelli mouse driver for apple but it seems the intelli mouse driver isnt enforcing the configuration.

What should i do?

Honestly, go buy a new one.
The mouse I'm using right now is a simple Logitech Optical that was only $5 after rebates. $15-$10 mail-in rebate. It's light, comfortable, and like I said, simple. It's a 2 button + scroll mouse and that's all I need.

I would assume, otherwise, what would be the point of the driver?

I'd talk to a mental health therapist... then buy a new mouse. Wink

First I laugh at this. And then I suggest a new mouse, also. Why would you want to go with just one mouse button, which is how I assume you have it set up?

There seem to be a lot of problems with using Microsoft mice on Macs, color me suprised, so I would recommend just buying a non-Microsoft mouse that would come with better driver support and non-crippled hardware.

no i got the scroll button set up as the "right click". Even if i got a new mouse i think i would prefer it setup up that way.

That's not good for ergonomics, you're gonna hurt your hand after awhile from having your hand bent over the mouse like that.

Don't feel bad Dynamic! I have a hard time adjusting to new keyboards and mice. I've had the same set for three years. I dread the day it breaks down on me! Sad
